The Umbrella project (everyone in the school thinks about one idea) is peace. What will happen after nine months of thinking about peace in lots of different ways among children from age two through age 14? What will parents contribute to the discussion? Here are a few initial thoughts when I asked the children in second grade "What is peace?"
